The temperatureerature for storage is Upon receipt, aliquot and store the 8-OHdG Standard at -20ºC and the 8-OHdG Conjugate at -80ºC to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Store all other components at 4ºC.
Storage Human ELISAs or ELISA kits will be stored at +4°C. The expiry date is mostly determined by the standard stability. If your ELISA kit is expired we can supply a new standard so it will still be functional.
Use of the reagent Among numerous types of oxidative DNA damage, 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) is a ubiquitous marker of oxidative stress. 8-OHdG, one of the byproducts of oxidative DNA damage, is physiologically formed and enhanced by chemical carcinogens. Our OxiSelect™ Oxidative DNA Damage ELISA test kit (8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine assay) provides a powerful method for rapid, sensitive quantification of 8-OHdG in DNA samples.
