Use of the reagent

Our OxiSelect™ UV-Induced DNA Damage ELISA Combo test kit measures the formation of both CPD and 6-4PP structures in DNA isolated from cells or tissues. Standards or unknown DNA samples are first heat denatured before adsorbed onto a 96-well DNA binding plate. The sample or standard are then probed with an anti-6-4PP or CPD antibody, followed by an HRP conjugated secondary antibody. CPD and 6-4PP structures are assayed on the same plate but in separate wells.
